Barbara Coward is a born again American. Originally from the suburbs of Philadelphia, she proudly cast her first vote for president of the United States for Ronald Reagan in the 1984 election, the same year that she graduated from St. Mary’s Academy, the only all-girls Catholic high school in Portland, Oregon. After attending college in New York and working in financial services in Boston, she moved abroad to marry an Brit who was a third-generation brush manufacturer that supplies to the Royal Household. She was so homesick for the United States that she moved back with her family stateside in June 2001, a few months before 9/11, and was a stay-at-home mom for 7 years before being hired as the assistant director of executive MBA programs at Loyola University Maryland. Since 2011, she’s worked as an independent admissions (and marketing) consultant in higher education. She is a regular attendee at CPAC and has lost track of how many times she has seen President Trump speak at rallies and conferences, as an devoted Trumpette. (I have some videos of me dancing at the rallies that I’m happy to send wearing my Americana flag shoes!)
