Jennifer Baysinger is an entrepreneur at heart with more than 25 years of experience launching, growing, and selling successful businesses. As a 5th generation Kansan raised in a family of independent oil producers, she understands firsthand the importance of a strong and prosperous business community. She often says, “Government should roll out the red carpet for business, not the red tape.” In addition to business ownership, Jennifer works to promote free enterprise, limited government policy at the local and state levels.
As former Vice-President of Political Affairs for the Kansas Chamber of Commerce, Jennifer oversaw the chamber’s political action committee as well as its candidate recruitment and grassroots development efforts. Under her leadership, the Kansas Chamber PAC experienced record fundraising and won nearly 90% of their engaged races, maintaining the pro-business veto-proof majority her team delivered to the Kansas Legislature in 2018.
In 2014, Jennifer took on City Hall and launched a small coalition opposing a $400 million local sales tax hike. Coalition for a Better Wichita grew to include thousands of supporters, and their efforts were successful, defeating the tax increase at the ballot box 62% to 38%. The coalition continued to engage in local and state free-enterprise initiatives for several years.
Jennifer participates in several business and political organizations in volunteer and elected positions. She currently serves on the National Pachyderm Club Board. Jennifer is a Selective Service board member, an Eisenhower Excellence in Public Service graduate, and a long-time delegate to the Kansas GOP. She is a Club for Growth Fellow and an AEI Leadership Network Cohort member. She is a former Hope Community Church leadership board member, women’s ministry director, and finance team chair. Jennifer is Vice-Chair of the Wichita Independent Business Association Governmental Affairs Board and a member of the KANZA Bank Board of Directors.
